Yves Unveils Key Features of Her First Solo Album
Yves, previously known as a member of Loona, is stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist with her upcoming release.
Her debut EP, titled LOOP, is set to drop on various music platforms at 6 pm on May 29.
LOOP marks Yves’s first solo venture in over six years since her debut. Anticipation is high for this EP, expected to showcase her musical passion and mark a significant leap in her solo career.
Comprising four tracks, LOOP reflects Yves journey of breaking free from the constraints of a structured system and exploring her true self.
Filled with her heartfelt thoughts and distinctive voice, the EP is described as both raw and honest, showcasing a newfound boldness in her expression. Yves also dedicates a fan song to her supporters, expressing gratitude for their unwavering belief and patience.
In a documentary accompanying the release, viewers get a glimpse of Yves’ evolution as a solo artist, promising results that exceed expectations and reveal new facets of her artistry.
LOOP embodies the essence of Yves, with contributions from the entire PAIX PER MIL division. Leading the production is MILLIC, overseeing the album’s creation and collaborating on title tracks like “LOOP (feat. Lil Cherry)” and “Afterglow”. IOAH adds his touch to the beat of “DIORAMA”, while blah contributes lyrical depth to “Goldfish”.
The title track, “LOOP (feat. Lil Cherry)”, sees Yves venturing into the house genre, offering a rhythmic escape from the monotony of daily life. With rapper Lil Cherry featured on the song, Yves’ ethereal vocals promise to blend seamlessly with Lil Cherry’s dynamic flow, creating a unique musical synergy.
