111 K-Pop Artists You Should Not Miss At The “HallyuPopFest 2018” In Singapore
Get ready as the largest K-Pop event in Southeast Asia, HallyuPopFest 2018, is coming to Singapore this September!
Definitely the biggest K-Pop music festival in Southeast Asia, HallyuPopFest 2018 is bringing a total of 111 K-Pop singers from 21 K-Pop acts to Singapore for three days of music, interactions, and one-of-a-kind experience for K-Pop fans and artists alike.

Happening on September 7 to 9 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, the K-Pop music festival will welcome the best and on-the-rise K-Pop acts for exciting and jaw-dropping performances and showcases, as well as, engagement sessions.
Here are the 111 K-Pop idols from 21 K-Pop acts you should not miss at the HallyuPopFest 2018 in Singapore this September.
1-6: AOA
FNC Entertainment’s representative girl group will make everyone “Bingle Bangle” on September 8.
Having debuted in 2012, Jimin, Yuna, Hyejeong, Mina, Seolhyun, and Chanmi have released hits after hits including their breakout song “Miniskirt”, “Short Hair”, “Like A Cat”, and “Heart Attack”.
Despite its long hiatus, AOA topped major digital song charts including Bugs, Mnet, Genie, Oleh Music, and Soribada via the girl group’s newest hit “Bingle Bangle” which was released on May 28.
7-12: Apink
More beautiful than spring, Apink will give attendees a sweet and charming time on the first day of the music festival on September 7.
The girl group, composed of Eunji, Naeun, Chorong, Bomi, Hayoung, and Namjoo, debuted in 2011 with Seven Springs of Apink, making a mark in the industry for their refreshing charms which the members demonstrated through their hits “No No No”, “Mr. Chu”, and “Remember”.
13-19: BTOB
Versatile boy group BTOB will treat Melodies at the HallyuPopFest 2018 with their signature quirks, fun-filled stages, and breathtaking vocals on September 9.
Eunkwang, Changsub, Minhyuk, Hyunsik, Peniel, Sungjae, and Ilhoon, who debuted in 2012, have been active both in music and acting. The members are also playing significant roles in their song production with Hyunsik leading the composition of the group’s latest song “Only One For Me”.
20-26: Dream Catcher
Reformed and ready to conquer, the seven-member girl group will wake you up from your nightmare through an afternoon showcase on September 9.
JIU, SuA, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami, and Gahyeon will grace HallyuPopFest 2018 as one of the K-Pop groups who will participate in the afternoon showcase — one of the many activities in the musical festival.
The girl group, who re-debuted in 2017 with its first single album, Nightmare, topped US iTunes K-Pop Top 100 Chart and ranked fifth on Billboard World Albums Chart via its first EP as Dreamcatcher entitled Prequel.
27: Eric Nam
Recognized for his hosting and musical abilities, the singer-songwriter and host will lead the festivities as the music festival’s master of ceremony from September 7 to 9.
Nam has showcased his hosting skills in various program including Arirang TV’s After School Club, MBC’s Section TV, and Olive TV’s No Oven Dessert 2. He has also interviewed Hollywood stars like Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Emma Stone, and Chloe Grace Moretz.
The multi-talented star recently completed his North American tour in support for his extended play, Honestly which was released in April 2018. The EP was fronted by “Honestly” and “Potion”.
28-31: EXID
It’s going to be a hot pink night on September 8 as Hani, Jeonghwa, LE, and Hyelin dance to their hits at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
EXID debuted in 2012 but only found success two years after through the group’s breakout hit “Up & Down”. The girl group went on to release hit after hit including “Hot Pink”, “Night Rather Than Day”, “HOW Why”, “DDD”, and “Lady”.
32-40: Gugudan
Gugudan will bring nine times the charm on September 7 as Mimi, Hana, Haebin, Nayoung, Sejeong, Sally, Soyee, Mina, and Hyeyeon treat fans to an afternoon showcase.
The girl group, who debuted in 2016 with its first extended play, Act. 1 The Little Mermaid, recently greeted fans with its second single album, Act. 4 Cait Sith led by “The Boots”.
41: Heize
Chart-topping singer and rapper Heize will make the crowd shut up and groove as she performs her hit singles on stage on September 9.
Known for her “All-Kill” songs, the singer debuted in 2014 with her eponymous extended play. She gained recognition after appearing in the second season of South Korean rap competition TV show, Unpretty Rapstar.
She has since released number one hits including “Star”, “Don’t Know”, and “You, Clouds, Rain”. She made a comeback this year with “Jenga” and “Didn’t Know Me”. She has also collaborated with DEAN, Gaeko, HIGHLIGHT’s Yong Jun Hyung, EXO’s Chen and Chanyeol.
42: Huh Gak
Superstar K2 winner Huh Gak will join labelmates Apink and VICTON as one of the performers in the first day of HallyuPopFest 2018.
After being crowned as the winner of the second season of Superstar K, the singer released his debut single “Always”. He came out with his first official debut album, First Story, which he released under his then-new agency, Plan A Entertainment, in 2011.
43: Jeong Sewoon
Oh! My Angel! Jeong Sewoon will also take part in the afternoon showcase on September 8, along with MOMOLAND.
The singer, who finished 12th on the second season of Produce 101, debuted as a solo singer in 2017 with his first EP, Ever, which peaked at the second spot of Gaon Chart and contained his original compositions “Miracle” and “Never Mind”. In January 2018, he returned with the second part of the EP titled Part.2 After.
44-52: MOMOLAND
It’s going to be great weekend for MOMOLAND fans as the on-the-rise girl group will be among the K-Pop acts who will perform at the largest K-Pop music festival in Southeast Asia.
Hyebin, Yeonwoo, Jane, Taeha, Nayun, JooE, Nancy, Daisy, and Ahin will bring their “Bboom Bboom” charms on September 7 as part of the lineup of the first day’s concert and on September 8 as one of the artists who will meet fans for an afternoon showcase.
Having debuted in 2016, the girl group got its breakthrough success in 2018 via its third EP Great! led by the chart-topping and highly addictive track “BBoom Bboom”.
53-59: MYTEEN
MYTEEN will bring its boyish charm in Singapore on September 9 as one of the acts in the event’s afternoon showcase.
The boy group, composed of seven members namely Taevin, Chunjin, Eunsu, Kookheon, Junseop, Yuvin, and Hanseul, debuted in 2017 via the mini album, Myteen Go! with title track “Amazing”.
On July 10 this year, MYTEEN will have its first comeback with another mini album, F;UZZLE.
60-68: NCT 127
The Seoul-based unit of SM Entertainment’s youngest boy group will expand its reach and travel to Singapore to take part in the music festival. Taeyong, Johnny, Yuta, Haechan, Mark, Doyoung, Taeil, Jaehyun, and Winwin will bring its limitless capabilities live at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on September 9.
The nine idols, who are part of the ever-growing group, NCT, debuted in 2016 as the second sub-unit to be introduced following NCT U. They released their eponymous first mini album which is led by track “Fire Track”.
Moreover, the boy group, which was named Rookie of the Year by various awarding bodies, has come out with other hits including “Limitless”, “Cherry Bomb”, and “Touch”.
69-75: ONF
ONF is on! Hyojin, E-tion, J-Us, Wyatt, MK, U, and Laun will be joining 20 other K-Pop acts as one of the lineups in the highly anticipated and star-studded event, performing on its second day, September 8.
The boy group, who released its second EP, You Complete Me, in June, debuted in 2017 with its first EP, ON/OFF.
76-81: SNUPER
HallyuPopFest 2018 is going to be higher than super with SNUPER in it! Suhyun, Sangil, Taewoong, Woosung, Sangho, and Sebin will take the stage on September 8 alongside ONF, AOA, EXID, Soyou, and Wanna One.
SNUPER debuted in 2015 through its first EP, Shall We, and recently released its fifth mini album, Blossom, in April. The boy group was also recognized by Asia Model Awards with a Model Special Award in 2016 and by Asia Artist Award with a New Wave Award in 2017.
82: Soyou
The night will definitely be better as Soyou joins the list of performers on September 8.
The singer started her career as a member of South Korean girl group SISTAR in 2010. As a solo artist, she has participated in the original soundtracks of Korean dramas including Love in the Moonlight, Goblin, She Was Pretty, and Empress Ki, before releasing the first part of her first solo mini album, RE:BORN in 2017.
83: Taeyeon
Taeyeon has something new and she’s coming to Singapore this September to share it! The leader of Girls’ Generation will join NCT 127, UNB, Heize, and BTOB in bringing the most memorable concert in the final night of the largest K-Pop music festival in Southeast Asia on September 9.
The singer, who debuted in 2007, is recognized for singing skills which she had constantly displayed through her album releases, singles, and OST appearances. In June 2018, she released her fourth EP, Something New.
84-92: UNB
We got a feeling that UNB will bring nothing but jaw-dropping performances on the final day of the largest music festival in Southeast Asia.
A product of KBS’ Idol Rebooting Project: The Unit, UNB made its official debut this year through the mini album, Boyhood led by two tracks “Feeling” and “Only One”.
Less than three months since the release of their debut EP, Jun, Euijin, Hojung, Feeldog, Daewon, Marco, Chan, Kijung, and Hansol came out with their second mini album, BLACK HEART, led by the song of the same title.
93-99: VICTON
Apink and Huh Gak’s labelmates Seungwoo, Seungsik, Heo Chan, Sejun, Hanse, Byungchan, and Subin are going to bring their voice to a new world as they join 20 other K-Pop acts in the inaugural HallyuPopFest 2018.
The boy group, who debuted in 2016, will perform on September 7 together with Apink, Huh Gak, MOMOLAND, and Wanna One.
Since debuting in 2016, VICTON has released four EPs and one single album.
Earlier this year, the members of the boy group demonstrated more of their singing and performance abilities through a busking project where they did covers of their seniors hit tracks including BEAST’s “Shadow”, 2NE1’s “Lonely”, BTS’ “Go Go Go”, and a remix of Red Velvet’s “Bad Boy”.
100-110: Wanna One
One of the most in-demand boy groups of its generation, Wanna One will treat Wannables to two nights of astounding performances on September 7 and 8 at the HallyuPopFest 2018 — (probably) the last visit of Daniel, Sungwoon, Seungwoo, Daehwi, Minhyun, Guanlin, Jinyoung, Woojin, Jihoon, Jisung, and Jaehwan in Singapore before their imminent disbandment.
The boy group, who constantly ranked high in terms of brand reputation since debuting in 2017, has released chart-topping tracks and albums including “Energetic”, “Burn It Up”, “Beautiful”, “Boomerang”, and “Light”.
111: Yu Seungwoo
Singer-songwriter Yu Seungwoo will take part in the afternoon showcase during the first day of the event together with Gugudan.
The singer, who was one of the Top 6 finalists in Superstar K4, debuted in 2013 through his first mini album, The First Picnic, and has since released another three Eps and a eponymous album. He has also collaborated with Soyou in the OST of Love in the Moonlight and Younha for her “Can’t Stop This Feeling” single.
With a total of 111 artists — seven solo acts and 14 groups — fans will be treated to star-studded and fun-filled activities at the largest music festival in Southeast Asia. Enjoy a jam-packed weekend this September which will include lineup of activities fans will not get to see anywhere else.
HallyuPopFest 2018 is brought to fans by H.A.H. Entertainment, a Singapore-based entertainment firm founded by people with more than nine decades of entertainment experience and rooted with the aim to bring everything Hallyu to Southeast Asia.
