Apink’s Eunji announced her plans of taking on the stage next month as a solo singer.

Apink’s main vocalist Eunji revealed incredible news for her fans regarding a solo comeback in July.

On June 23, PlayM Entertainment announced that Jung Eunji will be releasing her solo album in July. More information regarding the schedule and the format of the album will be revealed later, when details have been sorted out.

Eunji, who has been active as an actress and a radio DJ, will return as a solo singer. Her last individual album was the third mini-album Hyehwa, which was released in 2018. Meanwhile, her last single was a surprise duet with 10cm’s Kwon JungYeol, titled “Be With Me”.

Eunji belongs to the group Apink which debuted in 2011. The group has received a lot of love for their hit songs “FIVE”, “LUV”, “Mr. Chu” and “NoNoNo”, as well as for its pure image.

Although a change in the girls’ concept occurred with the songs “I’m So Sick” and “Dumhdurum”, they were further able to establish themselves as one of the leading K-pop girl groups in their 10th year since debut.

Recognized for her outstanding singing ability as Apink’s main vocalist, Eunji released her first solo album Dream in 2016. This led her into a successful solo start, topping various music charts and broadcasts with her title track “Hopefully Sky”.

In addition, the singer revealed more of her charm through “The Spring” from the second mini-album The Space and “Being There” from Hyehwa. She even showed her talents as a songwriter and composer.

The idol’s agency asked fans to look forward to Eunji’s solo album, as she has been working hard on preparations.

Meanwhile, the vocalist continues to be an unrivaled female artist as she shows her presence in various entertainment fields. Fans are already paying keen attention on what kind of new side will the singer show this time.
