ASTRO Sweetly Secures Their First Win For “Knock” On “Show Champion”
ASTRO has achieved another sweet and well-deserved accolade for their latest comeback!
ASTRO has taken home their first win for their comeback with “Knock” through the May 13 episode of MBC’s Show Champion!
The boy group keeps on going to greater heights with their latest comeback track “Knock”, which led their seventh mini-album GATEWAY upon its release on May 4!
Marking their newest accolade, ASTRO secured their first music show trophy for the song—which also served as their second since debut. It is also a long-awaited follow-up to the success of “All Night” which got them their first music show win in January 2019 via The Show.
Facing off against Taeyeon, IU, NCT Dream, and OH MY GIRL for the first spot, the group triumphantly emerged as number one on the show. Making the feat even sweeter and more special, Show Champion is also hosted by two of ASTRO’s members—Moonbin and Yoon Sanha.
Upon hearing their win and receiving their trophy, the boys broke into tears on stage, all while they delivered their heartfelt gratitude to their loving and supportive Arohas.
Together with the group, Arohas also celebrated this memorable feat on social media. Right after the show, hashtags related to the first win for “Knock” and the second overall win for ASTRO occupied the top trending spots on Twitter with the sweetest messages for the group.
