Zelo is ready to follow on his B.A.P brothers’ lead as he also gears up for his solo debut this June with a mini album.

The rapper will officially begin his career as a solo artist through the release of his first mini album titled Distance on June 21 — six months after leaving TS Entertainment. It will also serve as his first release under A Entertainment which now handles his solo activities after he signed an exclusive contract with the entertainment company in March this year.

Distance will feature six tracks namely “Celebrity”, “I Want To Know” (literal translation of “알고싶어”, “IDC”, “Flash, Party”, “Distance”, and “Be Better”. “I Want To Know” will serve as the extended play’s title track.

As he had done with B.A.P’s songs, Zelo will also display his songwriting and composing skills through the songs in his upcoming EP which will showcase the music style of the rapper and his new musical colors he has yet to show.

Raising the anticipation for his solo debut, the B.A.P member shared an album trailer for Distance.

The charismatic video earned praises from viewers who expressed their readiness for the debut of the rapper and how much they have waited to see him slay the music industry again. The 15-second teaser credited Zelo as the producer.

Following the album trailer, a music video trailer for “I Want To Know” will be unveiled on June 17. Then, on June 21, Zelo will release the full version of the music video.

With Distance, the rapper will be the fourth member of B.A.P to debut as a soloist following Bang Yong Guk, Daehyun, and Youngjae. Bang Yong Guk returned with a solo album in March this year. Meanwhile, Daehyun and Youngjae both debuted as soloists in April.
