On the latest broadcast of SBS’ Inkigayo on May 24, BIGBANG successfully earned its third consecutive win for the group’s newest title track named Loser.

Beating BoA’s Who Are You, and INFINITE member Kim Sunggyu’s The Answer, Loser leapt to the first spot for three weeks straight on the music show, this time with 10,127 votes.

On behalf of the group, BIGBANG member Taeyang shared his thoughts about receiving the well-deserved prize, saying:

Thank you for your love towards BIGBANG’s music. We’re really sorry that G-Dragon and T.O.P are unable to attend the music show today as they have to shoot a music video for our new song. We do hope that you [fans] will continue supporting our coming released tracks. Thank you so much!

Making its long-awaited comeback after three years of hiatus, the boys released their first album M of the comeback project titled MADE on May 1, with double title hit songs; Loser and Bae Bae.

Loser is setting a new record as it has already gained 10 trophies on all the major local music shows, namely SBS Inkigayo, MBC Show! Champion, Mnet M!Countdown, KBS 2 Music Bank, and MBC Show! Music Core. The song has swept all the real-time music charts in Korea, and topped the iTunes Single Charts in Hong Kong, Macao, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam, among others.

This week’s Inkigayo featured a number of stages from various artists, including BESTie, BIGBANG, BoA, BTS, Dal Shabet, EXID, Jeon Hyo Seong, Jinusean (feat Ailee), Kim Sunggyu, MONSTA X, N. Flying, SHINee and more.
