BIGBANG’s Highly-Awaited Music Return At “Coachella 2020” Has Been Cancelled

By  |

Due to the ongoing health crisis, there will be no Coachella Festival happening this year.

In light of the global pandemic, legendary K-Pop boy group BIGBANG will unfortunately no longer be seeing action at the Coachella 2020.

Just recently, Billboard has reported that the highly-awaited music festival has been officially cancelled by the host company Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG).

Originally scheduled in April, Coachella 2020 was moved to October this year. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to rise worldwide, AEG has unsurprisingly canceled the huge event. According to several reports, the music festival may return in a limited capacity format in April 2021 or even hold a full-fledged show in October 2021.

With this, fans of G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, and Daesung have to wait a little longer as no news yet whether the lineup will remain the same next year.

Back in March, YG Entertainment announced that all four members of BIGBANG have renewed their contracts. This marked the band’s third renewal since their previous signing in 2011 and 2015.

With their recent renewal, fans are looking forward to seeing their favorite idol group returning in the music scene with a new set of songs sometime this year.
