BIGBANG’s Taeyang Kicks Off World Tour in Hong Kong
On January 10, BIGBANG’s Taeyang successfully kicked off his first solo world tour titled Rise at the AsiaWorld Expo Hall in Hong Kong, Mwave reported.
The BIGBANG member drew a total of 4,200 fans to the concert and started his performance with Body, a song from his second solo album, Rise. He then sang Super Star, showing off his outstanding dance moves and perfect live singing ability.
Taeyang continued the concert by performing two emotional songs; Move and You’re My, making all the female audiences’ hearts fluttered. Further, one lucky fan girl was invited to the stage by Taeyang while he was singing I Need a Girl, bringing a screaming surprise to the fans.
“I went through a long journey in order to have this tour. It took me four years to release the album Rise and for the past four years, I’ve been waiting to meet you all on the stage. I was dreaming of this moment when I was recording, walking on the streets, eating, and even when I was sleeping,” Taeyang shared his feeling on the first-ever world tour.
The idol mesmerized the audiences by performing more than 20 songs, including the hit Good Boy, which is his collaboration song with best friend G-Dragon, alone for the first time.
Meanwhile, after his successful concert in Hong Kong, he will carry on with BIGBANG’s five dome tours in Osaka’s Kyocera dome, Japan on January 16 to 18, before visiting Shanghai, Beijing, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Taiwan to continue his Rise world tour concert.
