ARMYs around the world would have to wait a bit longer to see BTS’ onsite concerts again!

BIGHIT MUSIC has officially announced the cancellation of BTS’ highly-anticipated MAP OF THE SOUL concert tour.

Earlier today, the entertainment company took to Weverse, their official fan community platform, to update the long-awaiting fans regarding the event series.

“Our company has worked hard to resume preparations for the BTS MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR, knowing that all fans have been waiting eagerly and long for the tour. However, due to changing circumstances beyond our control, it has become difficult to resume performances at the same scale and timeline as previously planned. Therefore we must announce the cancellation of the BTS MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR,” the agency wrote.

Previously, the agency canceled the Seoul leg of the concert series in February of last year. Soon after, they also postponed the tours in North America, Europe, and Japan. “For fans who have reserved tickets for the North American shows, you will receive an email from your original point of purchase regarding refunds,” BIGHIT MUSIC added.

In addition, the company expressed its sincere apologies to all fans who have waited for BTS to visit their countries. “We are working to prepare a viable schedule and performance format that can meet your expectations, and we will provide updated notices as soon as possible. Thank you.”

Meanwhile, ARMYs around the world shared their thoughts about the news and sent comforting messages to each other via Twitter.
