BLACKPINK Climbs Back As Top Girl Group In August Brand Rankings
BLACKPINK is back on top!
The Korean Business Research Institute has recently announced that BLACKPINK is now the leading K-pop girl group this August.
The rankings are grounded on various factors including consumer media, communication, and community indices. Particularly, the institute has extracted a huge amount of data from July 15 to August 15.
Rising to reclaim the top spot is the femme fatale quartet BLACKPINK. Earning an 81.93 percent increase in their score since July, the group was able to obtain a brand reputation index of 3,243,108 this month.
Some of the high-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis are their latest film “BLACKPINK: The Movie,” “Jennie,” and “Oricon.” The words such as “record”, “release”, and “showing” are also present as their high-ranking related terms.
Coming at second place this August is the charismatic girl group aespa. Previously leading the list, the group managed to take the second leading spot with 2,708,017.
#3 Red Velvet
Signaling their grand return this August, the well-loved female quintet Red Velvet rose to third place with a score of 2,493,441.
Meanwhile, Brave Girls and TWICE completed the top-five list at fourth and fifth spots, respectively.
