BLACKPINK Completes Encore Performances In North America, Heads To Seoul For Final Stage

BLACKPINK has successfully finished encore concerts at large-scale stadiums in four cities in North America.

Accordingly, the group is now heading to Seoul, where the long journey began.

On August 26 (local time), Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa held an encore concert at Dodger Stadium, a large-scale venue that can accommodate about 51,000 people in Los Angeles, USA. Thanks to the support of local fans, it mobilized more than twice the audience compared to the concert held at the Bank of California in Los Angeles last November.

BLACKPINK opened the concert strongly with a live performance of “Pink Venom” and ran overwhelming performances for 115 minutes on stage. They treated fans with hit songs such as “Whistle”, “Lovesick Girls” and “Shut Down”. Blinks responded by filling the stadium with cheers and singing.

The heat at the scene soared to its peak on each member’s individual stage, which showed off the four colorful charms of the girl group.

Following Jisoo’s “All Eyes On Me”, which was first released in New Jersey to commemorate Blackpink’s 7th anniversary on August 11, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa also heightened the already exciting night with perfect solo performances.

The rich sound of the band beating throughout the stadium added vitality to the performance. YG’s unique performance know-how, such as colorful lighting, LEDs, and various special effects, was integrated, and the elaborate and colorful stage production enhanced the quality of the concert. Notably, the waves of the light sticks (light sticks) that sway like huge pink waves harmonized and created a spectacular view.

BLACKPINK, who showed professional stage manners while interacting with the audience until the end expressed their thoughts.

“It’s a pity that it’s already the last concert in North America. Thank you to the staff members who have been with us on the tour for nearly a year. Thanks to your support, it was a really happy and touching time. I will keep this moment in my heart forever.”

The fireworks that adorned the concert in LA left a deep impression on the night sky in New Jersey and San Francisco. The special event held in Las Vegas exclusively for Blackpink also drew attention. To commemorate their concert on August 18 (local time), the entire city was illuminated with pink lights.
