BLACKPINK Continues Reign As Top K-Pop Girl Group In August Brand Rankings
The steady power of BLACKPINK is really impressive!
The Korean Business Research Institute has recently published the brand reputation rankings for K-Pop girl groups this August. Based on its latest list, BLACKPINK continues their reign as the brightest female act for the second straight months now.
The rankings are grounded on various factors including consumer media, communication, and community indices. Particularly, the institute has extracted a huge amount of data from July 8 to August 8.
Securing the top spot once again is BLACKPINK. The femme fatale quartet maintained their ranking after scoring a brand reputation index of 9,922,928 for August.
Some of the high-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis are their latest single “How You Like That”, “4th anniversary”, and their domination on “YouTube”. The words such as “record”, “release”, and “surpass” are likewise present as the girls’ high-ranking related terms.
#2 Red Velvet
Rising to take the second place this August is Red Velvet. The well-rounded quintet acquired a brand reputation index of 5,597,781.
With a 58.19 percent increase in their score since July, the charismatic girl group (G)I-DLE climbed up at the third spot. They recorded a brand reputation index of 4,763,242 for August.
Completing our top-five list are Oh My Girl and MAMAMOO who took the fourth and fifth places, respectively.
