BLACKPINK Gears Up For First Full Album Release With Exciting Details
The long wait will soon be over for BLINKs!
South Korean girl group BLACKPINK has recently updated fans about their nearing return by revealing details about their first full album.
Just recently, YG Entertainment announced through its official website and to various media outlets that Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa are set to gift fans with their very first regular album. The girls’ highly-awaited comeback will be divided into three phases.
Over 10 new songs
Making fans more excited, the agency revealed, “BLACKPINK has finished recording more than 10 new songs and has completed production for their first studio album.”
BLACKPINK’s first song – a pre-release title track – will be revealed in the middle of June. According to the agency, the members are currently preparing to film the music video for the song. They are also picking up the pace for their final preparations, including mastering their new choreography.
The second song of the femme fatale quartet will then be released in July or August. Opting to share further details about the track, the agency said that fans should stay tuned as this will be a “special kind of a new song.”
First full album
With almost four years since their debut, the BLACKPINK will be finally releasing their first-ever regular album in September.
“As it’s a first studio album that has been preparing for a long time, we hope to create more opportunities for the group to greet fans through performances and other content than in any year before through a three-step, multi-phased release,” the agency added.
