BLACKPINK’s Jennie Becomes The Fastest Female K-Pop Soloist To Break 100 Million Views On YouTube

Jennie adds another achievement under her belt!

It’s official: BLACKPINK’s Jennie remains unstoppable after reaching 100 million views on her music video for “SOLO“.

The music video reached the 100-million view count 23 days after its release on November 12, making Jennie the fastest female Korean solo artist to achieve this milestone.

The music video has been performing well in the days leading up to this milestone.

“SOLO” garnered 15 million views within 15 hours of its initial release, and the song’s popularity was further heightened by the dance spin-off released days after the music video.

Jennie’s single has also been performing well across South Korean and international music charts.

According to YG Entertainment, the song topped South Korean music charts like Melon, Mnet, Naver Music, Soribada, and Olleh Music two hours after its release.

“SOLO” retained its all-kill status two days after its initial release by topping both the realtime and daily charts of major South Korean music streaming sites.

Jennie’s “SOLO” also topped iTunes charts of 40 countries including Argentina, Armenia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Philippines, Sweden, Taiwan, Turkey, UAE, and Vietnam.

She is also the first female Korean solo artist to achieve number one on iTunes Worldwide Song Top 200 Chart.

Jennie’s solo debut single also ranked number one on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales, making her the second female Korean solo artist, and the sixth Korean solo artist to achieve this milestone.
