BLACKPINK’s Lisa has officially bagged two amazing Guinness World Records with her solo debut!

On September 10 at 1 PM KST, Lisa made her much-anticipated grand debut with her first single album LALISA consisting of the title track of the same name and another track “MONEY.”

Just recently, Guinness World Records announced that BLACKPINK’s Lisa was able to break two impressive feats with her solo debut track “LALISA.”

First, “LALISA” became “the most viewed YouTube music video by a solo artist in 24 hours.” The music video garnered 73.6 million views in just one day. It surpassed the record set by Taylor Swift’s “ME!” featuring Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco, which reached 65.2 million views in 2019.

As for the second world record, “LALISA” bagged the title of “the most viewed YouTube music video in 24 hours by a solo K-pop artist.” The previous record of 41.6 million views was set by “On the Ground” by BLACKPINK’s Rosé.

In addition, Guinness World Records wrote in its announcement, “Their (BLACKPINK’s) recent success also means that the band features inside the Guinness World Records 2022 book within the social media section.”
