BLACKPINK Member Rosé Diagnosed With COVID-19
We hope BLACKPINK’s Rosé will recover soon!
BLACKPINK member Rosé is confirmed to have tested positive for COVID-19.
On February 28, YG Entertainment announced that the BLACKPINK vocalist tested positive in her COVID-19 PCR test. She was supposed to fly the country to attend the Paris Fashion Week, therefore, taking a PCR test. But as soon as the results came back positive, she immediately canceled her overseas schedules.
The other BLACKPINK members Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa also underwent testing and came negative for the virus. Currently, all the members are not exhibiting any particular symptoms and are suggested to self-quarantine.

BLACKPINK’s Rosé’s took a PCR test before leaving the country on February 28 for an overseas schedule. The results came back positive which led to a cancellation of a couple of her overseas activities.
The other three members Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa tested negative. No one from the group, including Rosé who was diagnosed with COVID-19, is experiencing any particular symptoms.
All four members of BLACKPINK have completed their COVID-19 vaccination. The entertainment agency will continue to prioritize the health and overall well-being of our artists and staff members.
We would appreciate it if everyone could show support for Rosé’s rapid recovery as well as the BLACKPINK members who have been active with global activities. We will release an update if there are any changes in the future.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK has released its first documentary film Blackpink: Light Up the Sky on October 14, 2020. The film premiered on Netflix and covered lots of important moments since the group’s debut in 2016.
In particular, exclusive footage during the members’ trainee days was revealed in the film, as well as behind-the-scenes stories and interviews with the members.
