BLACKPINK, TWICE, & IZ*ONE Hailed As Leading K-Pop Girl Groups In January

BLACKPINK continues to reign as the No.1 K-Pop Girl Group this January!

According to the recently released brand reputation rankings for female idol groups by the Korean Business Research Institute, BLACKPINK, TWICE, and IZ*ONE are hailed as the top three acts for the month of January.

The rankings are grounded on various factors including consumer participation, media, communication, and community indices analyzed by the organization. Particularly, the organization accumulated a total number of 42,652,998 data from December 10 to January 10.

#1 BLACKPINK

The worldwide K-pop girl group BLACKPINK maintained the No. 1 spot for this month. The group impressively gained a brand reputation index of 4,695,457.

Some of the high-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis are their songs “ How You Like That”, “Lovesick Girls”, and “Whistle”. Meanwhile, the words such as “hold”, “record”, and “surpass” are likewise present as the girls’ high-ranking related terms.

#2 TWICE

JYP Entertainment’s prized female nonet TWICE took the second spot this January. The group was able to achieve a brand ranking reputation index of 4,178,019.

#3 IZ*ONE

Securing the third spot is the charming girl group IZ*ONE. The girls scored a 3,802,710 brand reputation index.

Completing this month’s top five are (G)I-DLE and Oh My Girl. (G)I-DLE took the fourth spot with a brand reputation index of 2,973,921, while Oh My Girl claimed the fifth spot with 2,759,787.
