BLACKPINK’s Jisoo will be making this year’s Spring season lovelier!

Jisoo from the femme fatale quartet BLACKPINK has revealed more details about her highly-anticipated solo debut.

On March 20,  YG Entertainment announced that the title song of Jisoo’s first solo album has been decided as “FLOWER.” In the teaser, the intense red color drew attention with the idol’s fearless aura. Like the name “FLOWER,” Jisoo is expected to capture the hearts of music fans armed with a unique music color and profound scent.

In addition, the title poster released on the day contained Jisoo perfectly melted in the background reminiscent of red petals. Jisoo, who added points with a black beret and nails, radiated a mysterious aura with her alluring eyes, amplifying curiosity about the concept of this album.

Jisoo will release her first solo album ME on March 31 at 1 PM KST. Her fellow BLACKPINK members, Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé, who previously debuted as solo artists, set new records on various global charts and reached meaningful milestones in K-pop. Remarkably, Jisoo is also recognized as an “all-rounder” artist with her excellent vocal skills and charismatic stage presence.

Despite the busy schedule of the world tour, she poured her love into the music several times to complete the album. YG said, “The music video was filmed in an overseas location with the largest production cost ever in BLACKPINK’s history. You can expect a new musical color unique to Jisoo that has not been seen before.”

Ongoing BORN PINK world tour

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is currently traveling the world to meet their fans through their concert tour. The quartet successfully completed 14 North American performances and 10 European shows last year. They are heading to the Philippines this weekend for their back-to-back concert party. They will also perform as headliners at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in the U.S. in April and the Hyde Park British Summertime Festival in the United Kingdom in July.
