BoA unveils drama version of ‘Only One’

After first releasing the dance version music video of new single Only One, BoA has officially unveiled the drama version of the video featuring her “ideal type”, actor Yoo Ah-in.

The music video begins with BoA walking into a cafe to meet her boyfriend. The two have small talk but become tense once their conversation stops. BoA then sings about her intentions of breaking up with Yoo Ah-in, despite the fact that she still considers him the ‘only one’. She implements her lyrics into the video by ending the relationship with a handshake and walks towards the exit. The camera zooms in on her eye and shows her walking into the cafe again, signifying what occurred before was actually not real.

The video is left open-ended so the audience does not know whether BoA really ended her relationship. Many fans deem that BoA did not end up breaking up with Yoo, as the couple met each other halfway before greeting each other with a smile at the end – which did not happen at the beginning of the video.
