BOYNEXTDOOR Records Highest First-Week Album Sales Among 2023 Rookie Groups

BOYNEXTDOOR recently made its debut and is already breaking records!

Among the groups who made their debuts this year, BOYNEXTDOOR established the record for the highest album sales in the first week based on the release date.

Hanteo Chart, a website that compiles album sales, reports that the first single album “WHO!”, a May 30th release from the boy band, sold 110,442 copies in its first week, which ended on June 5.

BOYNEXTDOOR placed fifth in the Initial Chodong debut album of all K-Pop boy groups, earning the highest score among rookies who made their debut in 2023.

Through the release of three music videos, the boy group announced their debut and garnered interest. The music video for “One and Only” had more than 19 million views on YouTube as of 10:00 a.m. on the 6th, and the music videos for “I’ll Turn Back” and “Serenade” had more than 10 million and 7.7 million views, respectively.

BOYNEXTDOOR is a six-member boy group managed by KOZ Entertainment. Sungho, Riwoo, Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak make up the group.

In keeping with the definition of “boys next door,” the group name “BOYNEXTDOOR” denotes that they will approach with ease and comfort.

The group wants to tell commonplace tales that their peers can connect to through honest music.
