BT21 Universe Takes Adorableness To The Next Level With Stellar Response Worldwide

BT21 Universe is already taking the world by storm as a new series to watch out for with its out-of-this-world teasers!

Just like BTS’ expansive Bangtan Universe, LINE FRIENDS is introducing a new series featuring the characters of BT21 that the seven boys designed as a collaboration with LINE FRIENDS through the upcoming BT21 Universe.

Set to introduce the story behind the adorable characters Koya, RJ, Shooky, Mang, Chimmy, Tata, Cooky, and Van, the series will show behind the scene clips of the BTS members using their imaginations to come up with the characters’ past, future, family, rivals, and friends.

The second teaser video, which also featured BTS, was unveiled on March 29. It marked the beginning of the BT21 Universe series, whose first episode will drop on April 4. The series will have a total of nine episodes, released every week via their official YouTube channel until May.

Its first teaser video was released on March 27, gathering 1.3 million cumulative views just within a day and showing the explosive responses from millennials all around the world.

BT21 is an IP (intellectual property) created with the collaboration of LINE FRIENDS and BTS, and this new project aims to let the characters grow and develop into more than just a conventional, one-time collaboration.

As a special promotion for the upcoming series, LINE FRIENDS will let customers participate in creating characters via BT21’s official social media channels in April.
