BT21’s “Hope in Love” Resonates across the World

Today, IPX (F.K.A LINE FRIENDS) shares that BT21, its globally popular character IP created in collaboration with BTS, has released the complete series of animation and the official merchandise of its latest campaign, “Hope in Love.”

BT21’s 30M supporters UNISTARS are showing lots of love from all over the world.

The Hope in Love series animation released through BT21’s official social media channels has accumulated over 5M views, featuring the hometown of our beloved dancing king MANG, Dotohee (similar to “dotoree” which means acorn in Korean) Village. It tells the story of MANG’s family and childhood, along with BT21 members who have been spending time apart for a while, coming together to spread hope to the world. The story is making UNISTARS even more sentimental as it stems from j-hope’s inspiration.

The animation tells the story of BT21’s adorable quest for the legendary Purple Acorn that is said to fruit on the Guardian Tree of Dotohee village and fulfill hopes once every 10 years. It delivers a heartwarming message to the audience around the world that shared love with our loved ones is the greatest hope. The campaign further expands the universe of BT21, wrapping up with a beautifully melodious busking video of BT21 playing their own instruments under the Guardian Tree.

The message of Hope in Love continues to stay with us with the official merchandise such as bag charm dolls, pens, mini keyrings, tumblers, and LINE messenger stickers launched. All products are now available for purchase online at LINE FRIENDS COLLECTION website. Especially, LINE FRIENDS Hongdae Flagship store and pop-up store at Myeongdong in Seoul, Korea have decorated special zones with the theme and are giving away acorn wish cards, where visitors can feel the heartfelt emotions from the animation in real life.
