The second BTOB member to enlist in the military, following leader Eunkwang in August 2018, has officially gone off today. After wishing to enlist quietly, Changsub headed to the training center to begin serving his mandatory military duties this afternoon with only his family and friends to see him off.
Melodies were able to get a glimpse of his entrance into the military through his friends like dancer Jin Jae Won and choreographer DOOBU. Through an Instagram story, Jin Jae Won shared a video of Changsub waving goodbye as he entered the training center.

DOOBU also posted his own video of Changsub’s last moments before starting his military service on his public Instagram account.

Prior to his enlistment, Changsub revealed his new hair cut for the military through a selfie posted on his Instagram. In the photo’s caption, the BTOB member wrote, “I will be back. YeJiApSa”. As Melodies know, “YeJiApSa” is a shortened term that the group often uses for a phrase that means, “I loved you then, I love you now, and I will continue to love you.”
