BTOB’s Lee Minhyuk To Say Goodbye To Fans Through A Solo Album

Minhyuk will bid you goodbye with a special gift!

BTOB’s Lee Minhyuk will treat Melodies to a solo album before officially starting his military enlistment.

The singer-songwriter will release his solo album on January 15. It will mark his first solo project since his self-produced track “Purple Rain”. The song was released in August 2017 as part of the boy group’s solo project series Piece of BTOB.

Minhyuk reportedly participated in the production and writing of the tracks of his upcoming album. More details regarding the album are expected to be unveiled in the coming days.

Meanwhile, the BTOB member will need to start service as a conscripted policeman in the first quarter of 2019. No specific date has been released as of press time. With his impending enlistment, he will be the third member to enter boot camp following leader Seo Eunkwang in August 2018 and Lee Changsub on January 14.

Aside from a solo album, Minhyuk also treated fans to a collaboration with singer Kim Na Young titled “Incorrect Answer” on December 30. He is also currently starring as Minhyuk in the drama Dae Jang Geum is Watching. Additionally, his film The Swordsman is pending for release.

Other than his solo activities, the singer-songwriter recently came back with the rest of BTOB with the album Hour Moment led by “Beautiful Pain”. It was the boy group’s first comeback as a six-member group following Eunkwang’s hiatus due to his military service.
