BTS Dominates Fashion Weeks with Unmatched Global Influence, Generating 56 Billion Won in Media Value
BTS has once again proven their extraordinary cultural and fashion influence, making headlines during the 2026 Spring/Summer Women’s Fashion Week in New York, Milan, and Paris.
From September to October, the group attended major runway shows to celebrate the new season, with each member representing their respective luxury brand: RM at Bottega Veneta, Jin at Gucci, Jimin at Dior, V at Celine, and Jungkook at Calvin Klein. Their presence drew immense attention from fashion insiders, global media, and fans alike.
According to a report by the influencer marketing platform Lefty, BTS generated an astounding $39.26 million (approximately 56 billion won) in earned media value (EMV) during the second half of fashion week. EMV quantifies the reach, engagement, and brand exposure of social content, essentially converting influence into monetary terms. The metric underscores BTS’s status as one of the most powerful trendsetters in global fashion.
BTS Members Shine as Top Influencers
During Milan Fashion Week, Jin and RM ranked second and sixth, respectively, among “Top Influencers,” while at Paris Fashion Week, V and Jimin were recognized in third and tenth place. Meanwhile, Jungkook alone generated $7.44 million (10.6 billion won) in media value simply by attending the Calvin Klein show—accounting for 30% of the brand’s total media exposure.
Global PR analytics platform Onclusive also reported the group’s staggering social media impact. Jin and RM were the most mentioned figures during Milan Fashion Week, with Jin capturing 37.5% of all mentions, highlighting his magnetic presence. In Paris, Jimin earned 17.06% of mentions, cementing the group’s reach across platforms and continents.
BTS’s influence isn’t new. Last January, J-Hope made waves attending the Louis Vuitton 2025 A/W Men’s Collection, generating $6.68 million (approximately 9.5 billion won) in media value, ranking first among influencers for the event. His posts accounted for 24% of the show’s total EMV, exemplifying the group’s consistent ability to amplify brand presence.
Beyond Music: Global Trendsetters and Cultural Icons
This latest achievement reiterates BTS’s role as more than just a music group—they are global trend leaders whose impact spans fashion, culture, and social media. Their presence at top fashion weeks continues to attract worldwide attention, shaping trends and reinforcing their image as icons of the 21st century.
Looking ahead, BTS is preparing for a comeback in spring 2026, paired with a large-scale world tour. Fans worldwide eagerly await their return, marking the highly anticipated reunion of the “21st-century pop icons” as a full group, ready to dominate both the music and fashion worlds once again.
