The 100-day countdown commenced for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics with Kpop favorite acts bringing on a festive stage at Gwanghwamun square to signal the beginning of the Olympic torch relay.  It will be handed over to participating 7500 torchbearers journeying nine provinces and eight major cities before reaching its destination on November 9 at Pyeongchang, Gangwon for the opening ceremony of the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.

Veteran folk singer Yang Hee Eun and hip-hop trio Tiger JK, Yoon Mi Rae and Bizzy warmed up the Gwanghwamun stage with electrifying performances. Then Ulala Session, Momo Land and Cosmic Girls engaged the audience even more with their powerful renditions.

Twice, BTOB, BAP, Day6 and NCT 127 paraded energetic song and dance numbers as Kpop’s worldwide phenom groups BTS and EXO strutted their manly charms to cap up the fiery event.

We love how Kpop is fully supportive of this upcoming global event!  We can’t wait to see the kick off ceremony of 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics on February 9.
