BTS, EXO, & SEVENTEEN Crowned As Leading K-Pop Boy Bands In 2020 January Brand Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute has finally revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for K-pop idol male groups.
Based on the latest rankings released by the institute, well-loved K-Pop boy groups BTS, EXO, and SEVENTEEN are hailed as the top three acts in January 2020.
The rankings were grounded on consumer participation, media, communication, and community indices analyzed by the organization. Particularly, it extracted a huge amount of data among numerous boy groups from December 3, 2019 to January 4, 2020.
From over 67 million pieces of data evaluated by the organization, worldwide idol group BTS has overwhelmingly acquired a total brand reputation index of 20,762.036. Remarkably, the K-Pop septet was able to maintain the glorious top seat for 20 consecutive months now.
Some of the high-ranking phrases from the group’s keyword analysis included “New York”, “CNN”, and “Billboard”. The positive words such as “enjoy”, “cool”, and “thankful” are also present as the band’s highest-ranking related terms.
Securing the second spot for several months now is EXO. The nation’s representative boy group was able to maintain the impressive rank thanks to their 4,484,865 brand reputation index.
Rising up to take the third place is multi-talented boy group SEVENTEEN. The thirteen-member band obtained the high-rank after gaining a 37.02 percent rise in their score since last month. In particular, the boys were able to score a total of 3,144,646 this January.
