BTS To Hold Their First Domestic Comeback Stage On M! Countdown

BTS will bring their chart-topping, record-breaking new hits to the domestic stage!

BTS is scheduled to hold their first comeback stage in Korea for “Boy with Luv” on April 18!

Korean ARMYs will get to witness the South Korean boy group perform their new music which captivated fans around the world on the domestic stage. Showcasing it for the very first time through Mnet’s M! Countdown, BTS is scheduled to perform live on April 18 at 6 PM KST. Expected to make the audiences go “wow”, the global phenomenon will showcase of their latest album Map of the Soul: Persona.

Chart-topping “Boy with Love”

After releasing their mini-album on April 12, the seven-member group has confirmed their appearance on the music show as the first stage for local fans. Map of the Soul: Persona has achieved numerous feats within a few days following its release, including giving the group its third album on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart within a year. It has since hit number one on British album charts, Korea’s Hanteo digital album chart, and Japan’s Oricon digital album chart.

BTS is preparing for a world-class performance for their showcase of three songs from the new album for the show – namely, “Boy with Luv” which set records on YouTube for its quick accumulation of views, “Dionysus” which gives an old school hip-hop vibe, and “Make It Right” which has drawn attention for its touchy yet sophisticated sound.

Internationally, the group held the first comeback stage for the album on the American show Saturday Night Live on April 13, a day after the album was released. They will also perform the song during the upcoming Billboard Music Awards, which will be the first stage where Halsey, whom they collaborated with for the song, will join them.
