BTS’ Jimin Leads September Brand Reputation Among Boy Group Members
BTS’ vocalist and dancer Jimin lands on top of September’s brand reputation rankings of individual boy group members.
The idol, who recently went viral for his “ethereal” looks, dethroned Wanna One’s Kang Daniel, who had held the number one spot for 13 weeks.
From the more than 184 million pieces of data analyzed by the Korean Business Research Institute, Jimin has a total score of 10,139,268, earning him the lead among 445 boy group members for the period beginning August 13 to September 14. His September score saw a 103.95 percent increase from last month’s score where he ranked sixth place.
The rise of Jimin in the rankings was propelled by BTS’ comeback on August 24, with the final installment of the boy group’s Love Yourself series, Love Yourself: Answer.
Moreover, link analysis showed words “attractive, loving, and celebrating” in connection with the idol, while keyword analysis associated with “Billboard” and “YouTube” were related to him.
Meanwhile, despite being dethroned from the top spot, Wanna One’s Kang Daniel has maintained his high ranking, placing second for this month’s brand reputation rankings.
Additionally, Daniel’s score rose by 1.82 percent. He has a total score of 9,812,430.
Following Daniel, BTS’ Jungkook also rose in the rankings for September.
After ranking 11th place last month, the youngest member of BTS secured the third spot this month, with a total score of 9,563,874. This score was 101.93 percent higher, compared to his August score.
All members of BTS and Wanna One were part of the top 30 spots of September’s brand reputation ranking.
