BTS’ “Kkul FM 06.13” To Make Its Return For “Map Of The Soul: Persona” Comeback

BTS is bringing a comeback within a comeback!

On April 8, BTS revealed that it will be holding Kkul FM 06.13‘s much-awaited return for their comeback this month!

The group will be sitting down once again for a new edition of their dearly-missed broadcast series titled Kkul FM 06.13. Set to be aired through their official V Live channel on April 13 at 12 AM KST, the broadcast’s return will serve as a comeback special for Map of the Soul: Persona.

Kkul FM 06.13 is a radio talk show style broadcast by the group, led by Suga as the “main DJ”,  where they hold conversations and discussions about various things. Not only were there a lot of funny and candid moments in it, but the boys were also able to share some of their inner thoughts through its previous broadcasts.

Its last edition aired on June 12, 2017 for BTS FESTA and despite having been an annual broadcast since 2015, the group was not able to hold it for 2018.

Kkul FM 06.13‘s return seems to be in line with the nostalgic, trip down the memory lane vibe that the group sets up for their comeback. Coming from how the new album’s comeback trailer “Persona” featured leader RM in a music video reminiscent of “Skool Luv Affair” aesthetics and the upcoming new track’s title “Boy With Luv” being eerily too similar to “Boy In Luv”, it makes sense that the group is bringing back a past broadcast series to celebrate their comeback.

Meanwhile, BTS will make their highly-anticipated comeback on April 12 with the album Map of the Soul: Persona. Its title track “Boy With Luv” was revealed on April 8 at 12 AM KST through a music video teaser, which featured a huge surprise: singer Halsey’s participation in the music video and song as a collaborating artist.
