BTS Makes It To Billboard’s “Latest Hot Tours List” With Massive Ticket Sales From “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” Tour
Asserting their global dominance yet again, BTS’ recently concluded tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself has achieved stellar numbers in sales
BTS has been consecutively breaking and creating new records left and right. Their last concert tour, Love Yourself: Speak Yourself which ended on October 29 has been immensely successful and boasts massive turnout. The tour pulled in an impressive 136.2 billion won from just the ticket sales itself.
According to the Billboard Boxscores report, Love Yourself: Speak Yourself had sold 976,283 tickets and earned $ 116.6 million. BTS’ stadium tour is ranked second behind Elton John on Billboard’s Hot Tours list. The Hot Tours list is on the basis of Boxscores chart which accounts for earnings from sales versus tickets sold. BTS are the first Korean artists to achieve a grand success of this level through their stadium tour.
An extension of BTS’ Love Yourself tour, Love Yourself: Speak Yourself consisted of 20 shows across Europe, Asia, and North and South America. The tour averaged to $5.8 million and 48,814 tickets per show.
Starting the stadium tour in May, BTS had earned $44 million from their six US stadium tours. Setting an unprecedented record, the group had previously topped the Billboard’s monthly Top Tours ranking for May. They had also topped the Polestar Live 75 chart in July for the highest average ticket sales per tour.

Recognized as the most influential artists in the world, BTS has attracted 206 million audience for their Love Yourself Tour with 62 performances across 23 cities around the world which includes Korea, USA, Canada, the UK, Germany, France, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Brazil, and Saudi Arabia. They were also the first Korean artists to have a stadium show at London’s Wembley Stadium and New York City’s Citi Field.
Meanwhile, BTS has earned three nominations at the American Music Awards. They are nominated for Best Tour along with Best Duo or Group-Pop/Rock and Top Social Artist. The award show is scheduled to take place on November 24. The group had earlier won the award for Top Social Artist in 2018 which was a first for any Korean artist.
