BTS Makes History As “Dynamite” Ranks No.1 On Billboard’s Hot 100

Continuously wowing fans with their feats around the world, Worldwide phenomenal boy group BTS has made a new history on Billboard with “Dynamite”!
Just recently, Billboard reported that the septet’s newest track “Dynamite” has topped its Hot 100 chart. It ranks the most popular songs in the United States across all genres based on streaming, radio airplay, and sales data. Remarkably, BTS became the first ever all-Korean group to achieve the top spot on the said chart.

Nielsen Music revealed that “Dynamite” obtained 33.9 million streams in the U.S. and 300,000 sales in its first week, which ended on August 27. The track also got 11.6 million radio airplay audience impressions in the week ending August 30.
Additionally, the song sold 265,000 downloads in its first week, with its overall first-week total sales of 300,000 including vinyl and cassette physical versions. BTS’ “Dynamite” also took over the Digital Song Sales chart and Streaming Songs chart this week at No.1 and No.3, respectively.
Earlier this year, BTS’ “ON” debuted on the Hot 100 at No.4. During that time, it was the highest ranking and highest score for a Korean group.
