BTS is setting record after records.

After securing the number one spot on Billboard’s Twitter chart with Not Today, South Korean boy group BTS has set another new record with its recent Japanese release.

Rap Monster, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook topped the weekly Oricon Charts, the largest music chart in Japan, with their Japanese single Blood, Sweat and Tears released on May 10. The single recorded 238,795 points within a week, making them the fastest overseas group to break the 200,000 mark on the chart.

The septet then relayed their gratitude to ARMYs for making the achievement possible. “We are always grateful,” the idol group wrote via Twitter.

BTS marked its Japanese debut in 2014, with the Japanese version of its ‘2 Cool 4 Skool’ album. Along with the album, a Japanese version of No More Dream was released. The boys followed up with their first Japanese studio album ‘Wake Up’, which contains Japanese versions of their Korean releases and Japanese original tracks Wake Up and The Stars.

To celebrate the first anniversary of its Japanese debut, the idol group released its fourth Japanese single For You in 2015. The single went on to top the Oricon Charts for the first time.
