BTS Will Bring Their Worldwide Handsomeness Back To ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’
Looks like we’re getting a part two of BTS’ amusing antics as they make a second appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show!
On May 1, entertainment website Variety reported that the famous American daytime talk show had announced its star-studded lineup of musical performances for the month.
Included in the list are Justin Timberlake together with the rest of *NSYNC, Panic! At the Disco, the Foo Fighters, Shawn Mendes, and more. The K-pop group is reportedly scheduled to wrap up the month with a bang (-tan! Yeah, no? Okay then).
The news quickly hit social media as Andy Lassner, the show’s executive producer, tweeted about the Variety article.
According to the Variety report, BTS will be returning to perform a track from their upcoming Love Yourself: Tear album entitled “Fake Love”. Fans were buzzed to hear about this new track and quickly brought the hashtag #FakeLoveIsComing trend to the number one spot on Twitter.
Currently, only the title of BTS’ new full album Love Yourself: Tear is known about the highly-anticipated third album, and the tracklist has yet to be revealed.
A source from Big Hit Entertainment had verified the group’s appearance through the news outlet OSEN on May 2. “We can only confirm that BTS will be in The Ellen Degeneres Show, and we are discussing the details of the upcoming appearance with the show,” the source said.
However, the source from Big Hit Entertainment did not confirm details about the track and asks the fans to “please wait for official content” instead. They state that the official content will reveal a variety of information about the album and title track.
V, Jungkook, Suga, Jimin, Rap Monster, Jin and J-Hope received a warm welcome from the fans on their first appearance on the show last November 27. Their guesting on The Ellen DeGeneres Show marked their U.S. daytime TV debut. It was recorded while the group was in Los Angeles for their U.S. television debut performance at the American Music Awards
Besides performing their chart-topping track “MIC Drop (Remix)”, the Bangtan boys also sat down with Ellen DeGeneres to chat about the universal messages of their songs, dating, and how RM learned English through the sitcom Friends.
