BTS’ Suga continues to share his blessings to those in need!

Suga, the multi-talented rapper and producer from BTS, has made his birthday celebration more meaningful through his recent heartwarming donation.

Just recently, Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital revealed that the BTS member donated 100 million won (approximately $87,980) to support the treatment of pediatric cancer patients. The donation was made in celebration of his 28th (in Korean age) birthday last March 9.

“I hope this donation will help even a little bit the children who cannot receive treatment due to difficult family conditions so they can grow healthy and bright,” Suga said.

Cho Ji Heum, the director of Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital expressed his appreciation to the idol. “I am very touched and thankful for the donation of Suga.We hope that this good influence will spread throughout society. We are proud of the BTS members who are enhancing national prestige through good stages. We will keep supporting you so you can continue to be active as an artist,” he said.

It is not the first time that Suga has performed good deeds in commemoration of his birthday. In 2018, he gifted Korean beef to 39 nursery schools in the name of their fan club ARMY. The following year, he gave 100 million won and 329 dolls to the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation.

Moreover, in February of last year, he supported his hometown, Daegu, by donating 100 million won to Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to be a little help to those who are having a hard time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, BTS has been confirmed to make their historic performance at this year’s Grammy Awards.
