Earlier today, JTBC News revealed that Wanna One plans to reunite before the nearing 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards. “The talks of a reunion come every year before the awards ceremony, but this time it’s a positive and active atmosphere,” a source said.

Addressing the report, CJ ENM revealed, “We are positively discussing various plans such as ‘MAMA’, concerts, and albums with all Wanna One members.”

If pushes through, this will mark the first grand reunion of the group after three years of disbandment.

Wanna One consisted of Kang Daniel, Park Ji Hoon, Lee Dae Hwi, Kim Jae Hwan, Ong Seong Wu, Park Woo Jin, Lai Kuan Lin, Yoon Ji Sung, Hwang Min Hyun, Bae Jin Young, and Ha Sung Woon. The group was created through Mnet’s boy group survival program Produce 101 Season 2 in 2017.

They disbanded after the expiration of the contract period scheduled on December 31, 2018. Their last group concert happened in January 2019. Since then, various rumors, including promotion extension, formation of units, and group reunion were raised several times, but none of them came to fruition.

Stay tuned for more details about the possible reunion!
