Cube Entertainment Announces BTOB’s Departure From Agency
After 11 years, the K-Pop group is parting ways with Cube Entertainment.
On November 6th, Cube Entertainment made an official announcement, stating, “In anticipation of the expiration of BTOB’s second exclusive contract, we engaged in extensive and thoughtful discussions with the members. As a result, both parties have mutually agreed not to renew the contract.”

As a result of this decision, BTOB concludes its long-standing association with Cube Entertainment, a partnership that has spanned 11 years since its inception in 2012.
The agency expressed its gratitude, saying, “We extend our heartfelt appreciation to BTOB for their remarkable contributions during their extensive tenure as a part of Cube Entertainment, and we want to thank Melody for their unwavering support and strength.”
The statement continued, “Although the chapter between Cube Entertainment and BTOB comes to a close here, we wholeheartedly pledge our support to the members of BTOB as they embark on a new journey, each with their boundless potential, towards a radiant and promising future.”
The following is Cube Entertainment’s official statement:
Hello. This is Cube Entertainment.
We would like to convey the official position regarding BTOB’s future activities.
We had a long and careful discussion with the members ahead of the expiration of BTOB’s second exclusive contract, and as a result, we decided not to renew the contract by mutual agreement.
With this, Cube Entertainment and BTOB’s Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub, Hyunsik, Peniel, and Sungjae have ended their 11-year partnership.
BTOB, which debuted on March 21, 2012, has established itself as a boy group representing the third generation of K-pop with its outstanding singing ability and music loved by the public.
We would like to thank BTOB for their proud performance as part of Cube Entertainment over the years, and MELODY for always being by BTOB’s side and providing support.
Unfortunately, the relationship between Cube Entertainment and BTOB has come to an end, but we will sincerely support the new growth and shining future of BTOB members who have infinite potential.
We ask for your unwavering love to BTOB as they begin another journey.
Thank you.
Meanwhile, BTOB debuted with the digital album Insane on March 21, 2012, and has since released its follow-up projects, Born to Beat, Press Play, Thriller, Beep Beep, Move, The Winter’s Tale, Complete, I Mean, Remember That, Let’s Go, New Men, Feel’eM, Brother Act, This Is Us, Hour Moment, Wind and Wish.
