Are we seeing Woo Jin Young in another survival show?

D1CE’s Woo Jin Young will make his way back to survival reality TV after he decided to join the upcoming season of the rap competition TV show Show Me the Money.

D1CE Company, the entertainment company handling the affairs and activities of D1CE, confirmed that the MIXNINE topnotcher has submitted his application form for the eighth season of the show, which aims to hold its first broadcast in the summer.

The entertainment company added that, through the show, Woo Jin Young will showcase his growth as a rapper. In addition, it will also be a way for more people to recognize D1Ce.

At present, Show Me the Money is gaining hot interest among aspiring contestants, with application set to be closed on May 3.

With the news of Woo Jin Young’s application, D1CE fans expressed concern on the possible overlapping of the show’s broadcast to the boy group’s debut. However, the entertainment company assured fans that Woo Jin Young, Kim Hyun Soo, Park Woo Dam, Jung Yoo Joon, and Jo Yong Geun will debut before the rap show airs.

If he successfully passes the application, Show Me the Money will serve as the third participation of Woo Jin Young in a survival show. He first took part in the second season of Produce 101 where he placed 40th. He then tried his luck in MIXNINE, successfully bagging the top spot on the show. However, the plans for the supposed boy group fell through.
