EXO’s Baekhyun Dominates International Music Charts With “City Lights”

EXO’s talented vocalist Baekhyun is lighting up hearts and music charts worldwide with his solo music!

On July 10, Baekhyun took the world by storm with the release of his solo album, City Lights. Since its release, the album has been taking over music charts everywhere, proving the singer’s phenomenal influence.

Prior to its release, City Lights garnered over 400,000 pre-orders. Upon its release, the album immediately soared to the top of domestic physical album charts such as Hanteo, Synnara Records, Kyobo Bookstore, Hottracks, QQ Music, and KuGou Music. Additionally, its title track “UN Village” immediately found its way to the top of Naver, Bugs, and Soribada’s charts. “UN Village” also ranked fifth on Melon and Genie’s charts.

City Lights was well-received by worldwide listeners, as it topped the iTunes charts in 66 countries. These countries included the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Argentina, Brazil, India, United Arab Emirates, and more. Moreover, Baekhyun broke records as he became the highest charting Korean solo act to debut on the Billboard Artist 100 chart.

Baekhyun is set to promote his new music through performances at Music Bank and Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook on July 12. The following day, he will be performing on MBC’s Show! Music Core. Baekhyun will also be performing on Inkigayo on July 14.
