On the latest broadcast of MBC’s Show! Music Core on May 2, EXO successfully took home its fourth consecutive win for the title track, Call Me Baby, of the group’s second full album EXODUS.

Beating EXID’s Ah Yeah and Park Jin Young’s Who’s Your Mama, Call Me Baby leapt to the first spot with 8,738 votes.

On behalf of the group, the EXO member Chanyeol, who served as the special host of the music show this week, shared his thoughts on receiving the well-deserved prize, saying: “I feel strange and miss other EXO members when earning the top prize alone as an MC like this. I would like to thank Lee Soo Man (Chairman of SM Entertainment), SM family, EXO members, my parents, and our beloved EXO-L.”

This week’s Show! Music Core featured a number of stages from various artists, including Block B’s Bastarz, CLC, Dal Shabet, Crayon Pop, Mr.Mr, Oh My Girl, Park Bo Ram, Red Velvet, UNIQ, 24K, and more.

In related news, EXO has proved its tremendous popularity by sweeping all the major local music shows, namely SBS’s Inkigayo, MBC Music’s Show! Champion, Mnet’s M!Countdown, KBS2TV’s Music Bank, and MBC’s Show! Music Core, shortly after the release of Call Me Baby on March 30. As of now, the talented group has already gained 18 music show trophies, breaking its previous record of winning first place 14 times with its 2013 hit song Growl.
