EXO’s Lay Zhang Enchants With His Sleek Moves In MV For “Honey”

Lay Zhang will never disappoint — and “Honey” proves just that.

After dropping his new album Honey in the early morning of June 14, EXO’s Lay Zhang continued the hype for his new release with a music video of his latest single “Honey” which he unveiled through his newly-launched YouTube channel.

The singer-songwriter partnered the addictive tunes of “Honey” with a captivating choreography that left viewers impressed and astounded by the superb performance he smoothly delivered.

The music video started with scenes from the MV teaser where the EXO member arrives in an empty hotel room and poured his attention on the news cast. He then went to take a dip in the bath tub before being disrupted by a bee.

The bee became the signifant player in the music video which took viewers to a seemingly new dimension where dancer Zhang Yixing is waiting to enthrall everyone with his moves and aesthetics.

“Honey” gives off a chill and relaxed vibe with its music video highlighting the choreography and performance of the EXO member. Its level of aesthetics in the music video — made through color tones and camera angles — did not fail to amaze.

As of press time, the music video has raked more than 216,000 views on YouTube. It also received positive response from viewers who commented that the singer-songwriter “snapped” in his latest release.

Lay Zhang once again showed his willingness to explore different music genres and to experiment on his music through Honey. Each track from the album provides listeners with a different type of listening experience. Still, it connects to one another as the feelings intensify with each song.
