EXO represents K-Pop at the MTV World Stage
EXO was the only group to represent K-Pop at the MTV World Stage over the weekend in Malaysia.
The group was joined by Robin Thicke, Far East Movement and local Malaysian act, Joe Flizzow.
The preppy-looking boys began their stage with an energetic dance intro then followed by the title track of their album, Wolf. The members then introduced themselves individually to the crowd.
EXO brought the atmosphere of the night to the another level with History. Fans were persistent to chant for the group despite the rain and drizzle.
The performance proceeded with a more mellow track called 365, slowing down the pace of the night. The pace picked up again when EXO performed their catchy hit, Growl.
MTV World Stage is a global series that bring multi-genre talents with global relevance to a telecast of 550 million households worldwide. Held in Malaysia this year, it is MTV’s first original produced MTV World Stage event globally, which started in 2009.
