Fantagio Music Responds To Rumored Disbandment Of Hello Venus
No disbandment for Hello Venus, says Fantagio.
Fantagio Music denies earlier reports pointing to the disbandment of Hello Venus after seven years.
The entertainment company dismissed the rumors of the members going their separate ways to pursue solo careers as singers and actresses. According to a representative of the agency, nothing has been decided as of press time regarding the disbandment of the girl group and discussions on contract renewal are underway.
Earlier today, news outlets reported that Hello Venus will disband following the end of the members’ contracts in May this year.

Hello Venus was formed as a joint venture of Fantagio Music and Pledis Entertainment in 2012. Originally composed of Alice, Nara, Lime, Yooara, Yoonjo, and Yooyoung, the girl group underwent lineup changes through its seven-year career with Yooara and Yoonjo leaving the group in 2014 after the two entertainment agencies ended their joint ventures as Tricell Media. The same year, Seoyoung and Yeoreum became new members.
The girl group was most notable for the songs “Sticky Sticky” and “Wiggle Wiggle”. After their fifth mini album Mystery of Venus in 2017, the girls have not released a new album. In December 2018, they joined other Fantagio artists ASTRO and Weki Meki for “All I Want” single.
As of press time, the members have been focused on their solo activities at the moment. Nara took her first lead role in KBS’ Doctor Prisoner, while Lime set up her YouTube channel.
