FIFTY FIFTY Steps Into the Supernatural with First-Ever Acting Project
All five members of FIFTY FIFTY are heading to the small screen together—and this time, they’re taking on ghosts.
The group has been cast as the leads in the upcoming short-form drama After School Exorcism Club, set to premiere this May. It marks their first foray into acting since debut, adding a fresh dimension to their growing portfolio.
Highlighting teen comedy with occult thrills, the series follows five spirited high school girls who form an unlikely exorcism squad, tackling restless spirits haunting their school. The story cleverly ties into the group’s album universe, weaving in character-driven settings that reflect each member’s unique personality.
The teaser poster already sets the tone—featuring the members walking through a shadowy, unsettling school corridor—paired with the intriguing line: “Cursed School, Chosen Children.”
Each member brings a distinct role to life:
Kina stars as Na Jin-shim, a ghost-seeing exorcism prodigy with surprisingly low grades; Moon Chanel plays Wang So-ra, a natural athlete who becomes the club’s physical powerhouse; Yewon takes on Choi Woo-soo, a top student whose perfectionism comes with a fragile edge. Hana appears as Geum Jo-yeon, a charmingly eccentric member of the broadcasting club, while Athena plays Jo Ah-young, an occult enthusiast and daughter of a powerful local figure.
After School Exorcism Club will stream on Kitz this May, with more details to be revealed soon.
Meanwhile, FIFTY FIFTY continues promotions as a five-member group—Kina alongside new additions Moon Chanel, Yewon, Hana, and Athena. Their track “Pookie,” released last November, recently enjoyed a viral resurgence, climbing back up the charts thanks to a popular challenge trend.
