Four Couples Snag ‘Best Couple’ Award in 2014 SBS Drama Awards

On December 31, four couples; Kim Soo-hyun and Jun Ji-hyun of My Love from the Star, Jo In-sung and Gong Hyo-jin of It’s Ok, that’s Love, Joo Sang-wook and Han Ye-seul of Birth of a Beauty, Lee Jong-suk and Park Shin-hye of Pinocchio, successfully took home the Best Couple award at the 2014 SBS Drama Awards, Kpop Herald reported.

Jun Ji-hyun opened up on My Love from the Star, saying: “Even though the weather was cold, I enjoyed the kiss scenes. I would give a perfect score for his performance.”

“I recently watched the re-runs for our drama, and thought that Kim was very good at acting. Thanks to him, I think our chemistry worked out the best,” she added.

Joo Sang-wook and Han Ye-seul from Birth of a Beauty shared their feelings of snagging the precious prize: “We did not expect to receive the best couple award. We hope you enjoy our drama for the remaining two weeks.”

Meanwhile, Lee Jong-suk and Park Shin-hye from Pinocchio, which is being broadcast now, made compliments to each other: “I think I had met the loveliest partner, making me happy to act in drama,” Lee said. In return to Lee’s praise, Park replied: “Lee is full of charms, making people in the set enjoy filming.”

Jo In-sung and Gong Hyo-jin from It’s OK, that’s Love were not present at the ceremony due to their busy schedules.
