(G)I-DLE Dominates Domestic & iTunes Charts With “I burn” Comeback

Versatile K-pop girl group (G)I-DLE has bagged new feats around the world with their new music release.

Making their highly-awaited comeback on January 11 at 6 PM KST, the girls gifted fans with the release of their fourth mini album I burn and its title track “HWAA”. Narrating a story of heartbreak, the new song wows with its Moombahton genre and traditional Asian touch.

Just few hours after their comeback, I burn has successfully topped the iTunes Top Albums charts in 51 regions worldwide including Brazil, Canada, Finland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, and Russia.

Additionally, they quickly dominated the domestic and international music charts. “HWAA” topped the real-time charts of major music sites namely, Genie and Bugs.

Delighted to hear the news, the group expressed their gratitude to fans. “It’s like we’re dreaming. This is really all thanks to Neverland. We put in more thought and effort in this album than ever. We sincerely thank you for showing us so much love and support.”

Aiming to bring comfort and enjoyment to fans through their promotions, (G)I-DLE added, “We hope that people who are going through frustrating and empty days during the current situation will enjoy our album as though they’re reading a novel.”
