(G)I-DLE Reclaims Crown As Leading K-Pop Girl Group In February Brand Rankings
Congratulations to (G)I-DLE for being hailed as “Queens of K-Pop” in February!
Based on the recently released brand reputation rankings from the Korean Business Institute, rising femme fatale group (G)I-DLE has successfully climbed back to take the top spot among girl groups for the month of February.
The rankings are grounded on various factors including consumer media, communication, and community indices. Particularly, the institute has extracted the huge 93,643,526 amount of data from January 7 to February 8.
Cube Entertainment’s prized girl group (G)I-DLE continues to wow everyone with their high rankings in the past few months. Previously placing third last month, Soyeon, Soojin, Miyeon, Shuhua, Minnie, and Yuqi were able to rise up and lead the list with a total brand reputation index of 9,682,200 in February.
Some of the high-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis are their latest title track “LION”, upcoming “world tour”, and their fearless leader “Soyeon”. The flattering words such as “distinctive”, “pretty”, and “unique” are likewise present as the girls’ high-ranking related terms.
#2 Red Velvet
Following to take the second place is well-loved K-Pop quintet Red Velvet. Irene, Wendy, Seulgi, Joy and Yeri previously led the rankings in January. Though they fell down a bit in this month’s list, the girls still acquired an impressive 8,087,521 brand reputation index.
With a striking 447.57 percent increase in their score since last month, charming girl group LOONA was able to rise up in the current rankings. The female idols, who recently made their booming return, specifically scored a total brand reputation index of 6,744,180 in February.
Meanwhile, completing our top-five list are popular idol groups TWICE and BLACKPINK who obtained the fourth and fifth spots, respectively.
