Girl’s Day Donates 10 Million Won to Nepal Earthquake Victims

Girl’s Day is lending a helping hand to the victims of the recent devastating earthquake in Nepal, contributing 10 million Won to the disaster relief.

On May 2, a representative of the Korean Red Cross revealed the news regarding the girls’ kindness, saying: “Girl’s Day has donated 10 million Won to help those who have suffered from the sudden massive earthquake in Nepal.” As of now, the organization has already garnered about 800 million Won in public donations.

Known for actively participating in a variety of volunteer work, Girl’s Day opened up about its good deed to the community this time, sharing: “Although our contribution is small, we hope that the people of Nepal will soon get back on their feet to return to their original state before the earthquake.”

Last month, member Minah also expressed her concern for the earthquake victims in Nepal by posting a message on her Instagram account: “Pray for Nepal, please be strong.”

In related news, Girl’s Day will be making its comeback to the K-pop scene during the May-June period.
