It was reported that fans of Girls’ Generation‘s Sunny and Yoona in the Philippines will host a charity event in honor of their birthday.

On May 17, Filipino fans of Sunny and Yoona run the charity event as their birthday celebration. Instead of a simple fan dinner gathering, the staff of Sunny PH and Yoona PH decided that it will be more purposeful if they can do good deeds to honor their idols birthday.

On this day, the fans of the two idol stars interacted with the children of the orphanage Tahanan ng Pagmamahal Children’s Home. The fans taught the children how to dance the famous Gee dance. They also introduced Yoona and Sunny through watching of the MVs.

The collected funds were given to the orphanage named after Sunny and Yoona. In return, the children of the orphanage expressed their heartful thanks through a violin performance and birthday greeting for the two.
