Discovering the right romance melody is what Go Ara and Lee Jae Wook aim on their upcoming romantic comedy series!

Slated for broadcast in the second half of the year, 도도솔솔라라솔  Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol (literal translation) expects a new love story that will warm the hearts of audience.

Filming for the new project commences soon and viewers can look forward to a free spirited love tale. Combining Go Ara’s unrivaled charm and Lee Jae Wook’s unrelenting trend, the series goals to decorate unforgettable story this season.

Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol threads on sparkly romantic comedy between a man and a woman whose secrets and scars will be healed together in Lalaland, a small country village.

For her new role, Go Ara takes on the role of lively pianist Gurara. Despite not having the perfect life, her optimism does not cease.

Actively starring in a string of project in the past few years, this will be an interesting character for Go Ara. Her impressive drama portfolio boasts Haechi, Miss Hammurabi, Reply 1994 and Black to name a few.

Excited to challenge the rom-com genre, Go revealed wanting to work on romantic comedy.

“I can greet you with charming and distinctive work as well as character. I think I’m also looking forward to it. We will try to make it a work that viewers can enjoy together. I ask for a lot of love,” the actress said inviting fans to anticipate her new work.

Establishing his presence in K-Drama scene, Lee Jae Wook, likewise, has been impressing the audience with his keen characterizations. From his short but memorable stint in Memories of the Alhambra, he has secured roles in dramas where he made sure he will be noticed for his portrayals. Marking his first male lead role, Lee’s hard work finally paid off.

Lee has recently starred in When The Weather is Fine, Extraordinary You and Search: WWW. All have been well-received by drama patrons.

Transforming to a chic and free-spirited soul, Lee Jae Wook suits up to the role of Sun Woo Jun. Working as a part-timer, he seems not to have a dream or goal. He seems scary, but in fact sweet. He seems to be cold, but in reality he is warm and charming.

Drawn to the new character he will give life to, Lee confessed about the emotional complexity of Jeon Woo Jun.

“I think it’s a great luck as a newcomer. I want to work hard without regrets. Through the drama, I hope to be able to convey warmth to the viewers’ daily lives,” Lee said.

Backing up the project is director Kim Min Kyung who co-directed Matrimonial Chaos. Penning the script is Oh Ji Young of My Secret Terrius and Shopping King Louie fame.
